Executive MBA

“The Weatherhead Executive MBA program is the most enlightened academic program I have ever come across. It is very different from other programs that I compared it to in terms of the leadership curricula, company-focused projects and the quality of fellow students. Few business schools can match this unique set of factors.”

Cliff Hegan
Executive MBA Candidate, 2007

Residency Periods
Residency periods are four-day sessions of sustained interaction and instruction. They are held at the start of each semester throughout the program.

The objectives of the residency periods are to:

  • Build and sustain a high-caliber learning community where the experience of all participants is available as a resource
  • "Jump start" learning for the semester through concentrated study
  • Develop behavioral management skills in leadership, teamwork, creative problem-solving, peer review and conflict management

Monthly Class Sessions

Classes are held on one contiguous Friday and Saturday each month in the George S. Dively Building. The typical daily schedule is from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break and two hours of dedicated study group time each class day.

If you are an incoming EMBA student, please visit the Executive MBA program website for program-specific information.
